TikTok introduced a 60-minute daily limit for teens to address parents’ concerns. The company announced in March it would roll out a feature that would prompt users when they had reached the 60-minute limit, requiring a passcode to continue. For accounts where the user is under the age of 13, a parent or guardian would have to set or enter a passcode to allow 30 minutes of extra viewing time.
